1978

The Beginning

Our journey began with the establishment of the ZAOUIA packing station, equipped with a production capacity of 14 tonnes per hour and 1,400 tonnes of cold storage. This marked the foundation of what would become the VITASOUSS Group, built on a commitment to quality, reliability, and Moroccan agricultural expertise.

2005

A New Era for ZAOUIA

To meet growing international demand, ZAOUIA underwent a complete modernization. New technologies and packing equipment doubled production capacity to 28 tonnes per hour, while cold storage expanded to 3,000 tonnes, strengthening our export capabilities.

2007

Entering the Sweet Corn Market

Driven by a vision to diversify our production, we began our sweet corn operations on a smaller scale. This marked the Group's first step beyond citrus, laying the foundation for future investment and growth.

2013

Growing with Our Markets

Continued investment in technology and infrastructure increased ZAOUIA's production capacity to 42 tonnes per hour and expanded cold storage facilities to 6,500 tonnes, enabling us to meet growing international demand while maintaining consistent quality.

2014

Foundation ZAOUIA

The creation of Foundation Zaouia marked the beginning of our long-term commitment to social responsibility, supporting educational, cultural, humanitarian, sports, and community initiatives across the regions where we operate.

2016

The Opening of DIAF

The launch of the DIAF packhouse marked a major milestone in the Group's development. With an additional production capacity of 28 tonnes per hour and 4,500 tonnes of cold storage, DIAF enhanced operational efficiency, strengthened quality control, and supported expansion into new international markets.

2018

Expanding Our Grower Network

As our business continued to grow, so did our network of growers. By expanding production across different regions of Morocco, we reinforced our supply chain, increased cultivated areas, and secured a reliable supply of premium-quality produce.

2022

Diversifying into Berries

Responding to evolving market demand, a dedicated berry production unit was established within the DIAF facility, supported by specialized cold storage infrastructure to preserve freshness and product quality.

2024

Advancing Sweet Corn Production

Building on our experience in sweet corn, we introduced a dedicated production unit at DIAF equipped with advanced processing technologies and modern cold storage facilities. This investment significantly increased production capacity and strengthened our ability to meet international market requirements.

2026

Our story continues. Through continuous investment in innovation, sustainable agriculture, and modern infrastructure, we remain committed to delivering exceptional Moroccan produce to customers around the world.
